Though on existing platforms and such I don't think you'll see SKYPE coming to PS3 now that it will be heavily integrated with LIVE and be a differentiator for the Xbox.

Bestbuy and Futureshop in Canada both recently had the 4GB w/ kinect for 179 including kinect.
Walmart, Bestbuy and Futureshop regularly have had the 4GB under 130 and shoppers Drugmart just had it for 99 a couple of weeks back.
Dell.ca had the Xbox 250gb on for 199 today (one day sale sold out thus why you dont see it...if you go to the sale page you will see a one line disclaimer at the top saying it is sold out) and FS recently ha...
It achieved these sales because of price cuts...hell the 4GB has been under 130 multiple times and now the 250gb is hitting under 200 fairly often too. Sales are up...wonder if revenue is.
Since Xmas I've seen the 4GB for 99 or 129 about 10 times already....3 weeks ago I picked up the 4GB WITH Kinect for 179.
And MS keeps dropping the 250GB to 199 here there and everywhere...are they trying to squeeze out a few more sales before they both drop the price?

Depends if you believe Wii belonged in the same gen as 360/ps3 or was really just a revamped GC with a different control scheme (that history has shown was developed for the GC in the first place)
It isn't a 'new method' really...all they've done is upscale the DS and you provide the top screen via your TV.
With Xbox regularly selling the 250GB on sale for $199 (again today at Dell.ca) and the 4GB for under $130....I'd imagine by next year these will be the 'normal' prices and the WiiU will slot itself in at the $299 mark with the 3DS being lowered to $199.
His problem isn't truly with 'the press' (which implies journalistic training and standards) but with assmunch bloggers running their mouths off with no care for truth reality or standards....anything to get 'hits'.
